COMMISSION A PORTRAIT
FIRST MEETING
Client and artist compose the written agreement for the proposed artwork, which includes the number of subjects, sizes, price, degree of formality, and other preferences. Fee Range: $2,000+
- A deposit of 50% of the estimated total is required to begin the portrait.
- Schedule the photo session.

SECOND MEETING
the photo session lasts about 2 hours and about 400 photos will be taken. Only those poses which would best translate into a portrait are selected by the artist and will be the basis for the small color sketches.
THIRD MEETING
The finished color sketches (usually 2-3) are presented for client approval, and any changes for the actual portrait will be noted at this time.
FOURTH MEETING
Arrangements will be made by artist for delivery of completed portrait (larger paintings may require professional transport). A loaner frame may be provided by artist or a frame may be chosen by the client ahead of time.
Remaining balance is due upon delivery.
